iTunes Connect: Invalid Binary

Beim Hochladen einer neuen iOS-App über den Xcode-Organizer kann es passieren, dass iTunes Connect eine Fehlermeldung „Invalid Binary“ liefert. Kurz darauf bekommst eine Mail mit detaillierteren Informaionen:

We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for „appname“. To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:

Invalid Code Signing Entitlements – Your application bundle’s signature contains code signing entitlements that are not supported. Please check your Xcode project’s code signing entitlements configuration, and remove any unneeded entitlements.

Specifically, key „com.apple.developer.pass-type-identifiers“ is not supported.

Once these issues have been corrected, go to the Version Details page and click „Ready to Upload Binary.“ Continue through the submission process until the app status is „Waiting for Upload.“ You can then deliver the corrected binary.

Thomas Suarez – iPhone Application Developer

Thomas Suarez is a 6th grade student at a middle school in the South Bay of Los Angeles. When Apple released the Software Development Kit (SDK), he began to create and sell his own applications. „My parents, my friends and even the people at the Apple store all supported me,“ he says, „and Steve Jobs inspired me“. Thomas points out that it’s hard to learn how to make an app. „For soccer you could go to a soccer team … but what if you want to make an app?“ He’s started a club for fellow students at school, where he shares his knowledge of programming. Thomas articulates his vision that students are a valuable new technology resource to teachers, and should be empowered to offer assistance in developing the technology curriculum and also assist in delivering the lessons.

Heute hat Apple die neue Beta-Version von Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion vorgestellt, dem Nachfolger von Lion – mit über 100 neuen Funktionen, welche auch am iPhone bzw. iPad vorhanden sind.

Darunter befindet sich auch Messages, welches iChat ersetzen soll. Messages kann alles was auch iChat kann, z.B. Google Talk, Facebook, Yahoo, Jabber.
Neu ist jetzt, dass man auch iMessages senden und empfangen kann.

Das Beste ist, du musst nicht bis in den Sommer bis Mountain Lion erscheint. Wenn du Lion auf deinem Mac installiert hast, kannst du dir die Beta-Version von Messages direkt von der Apple-Homepage downloaden.

Gast unter Mac OS X Lion deaktivieren

Seit dem Lion-Update auf 10.7.2 ist der Gast-Benutzer beim Anmeldeschirm sichtbar, auch wenn er in der Systemsteuerung deaktiviert ist. In diesem Fall kann der Gast-Benutzer nur Safari benutzen und im Internet surfen.

Um den Gast-Account wirklich komplett zu deaktivieren, gehe in die Systemeinstellungen und ändere folgende Einstellungen:

Benutzer & Gruppen:

  • Gästen erlauben, sich an diesem Computer anzumelden
    dekativieren

Sicherheit / Allgemein:

  • „Neustart in Safari“ deaktiveren, wenn Bildschirm gesperrt ist
    aktivieren

Danach ist der Gast-Account wirklich vom Anmeldebildschirm verschwunden.

Es ist vollbracht:

Meine erste App für das iPhone / iPod touch ist fertig und auch schon online. Die Einarbeitung in Objective-C und Xcode hat einige Zeit gedauert, aber dank der sehr guten Videos von der Stanford University, komme ich mittlerweile ganz gut zurecht.

Ich arbeite auch schon an weiteren Apps. Wenn Du Ideen oder Wünsche für eine spezielle App hast, dann kontaktiere mich einfach.

ModCalc ist einfacher Taschenrechner, der neben den Grundrechnungsarten
auch die Quadratwurzel, Potenzen und Modulo (ideal für die Bestimmung der Resklasse) beherrscht.

Klingelton mit iTunes 10

Auch mit iTunes 10 kann man mehr oder weniger simpel Klingeltöne für iDevices erstellen, ohne auf Fremdsoftware angewiesen zu sein.

  • Gewünschtes Lied rechtsklicken und im Kontextmenü “Informationen” auswählen.
  • Im Menüpunkt “Optionen” Häckchen bei “Starten bei” und “Stoppen bei” setzen.
  • Jetzt die gewünschten Start- und Endzeiten eingeben (z.B. 00:00 bis 00:30 für die ersten 30 Sekunden des Stücks). Die maximale Dauer für iTunes-Klingeltöne beträgt 40 Sekunden.
  • Mit “OK” bestätigen.
  • Jetzt die neue Datei auswählen (erkennbar an der kürzeren Spielzeit) und in der Menüleiste “Erweitert” und “AAC Version erstellen” auswählen.
  • Falls der Menüpunkt nicht verfügbar ist, kann man ihn in den Optionen aktivieren: Unter “Importeinstellungen” den “AAC Encoder” als Standard einstellen.
  • iTunes erstellt jetzt die kurze Version der Musik, die man ganz einfach auf den Desktop ziehen kann.
  • Die Dateiendung von “m4a” in “m4r” ändern, und die Änderung bestätigen.
  • Vor dem Import der neuen m4r-Datei unbedingt die vorher erstellte Version des Ausschnitts aus iTunes löschen
  • Anschließend kann man die m4r-Datei einfach in die Bibliothek (linkes oberes Eck) ziehen, und sie wird automatisch bei den Klingeltönen einsortiert.
  • Bei der nächsten Synchronisation wird der Klingelton auf das iPhone übertragen (falls nicht, die
  • Synchronisationseinstellungen prüfen und auch Klingeltöne für die Synchronisation freischalten).
  • Nicht vergessen, bei der Original-Datei die Häckchen bei Start- und Stoppzeit wieder zu deaktivieren, damit das Lied in voller Länge abgespielt wird.
